yeah thanks for your feedback everyone - and yes i am starting to dislike the cage too ^^

i may do a rework of this one.

guess i got carried away by the "follow me tool" - great thing in sketchup btw.

This thing looks like a modernised version of a warhammer 40.000 tank. I love the concept idea and the sloped front plate. I woudl really lose that cage and eventually go with a back compertment if you really need troop transport capacity. If the profile of the tank looks a little "off" after you remove the cage, do some sloped armor on the turret also for compensation, just for the looks ;)

that is awesome... my brother has sketchup but i had no idea you could do thinks like this. i especially like the wedge shape of the entire tank. awesome job.
